AIF1 This item specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of AIF1 (Allograft inflammatory factor 1), otherwise known as IBA1, an actin-binding protein first identified in rat cardiac allografts with chronic rejection, which has been shown to enhance membrane ruffling, actin-bundling activity of LCP1 (lymphocyte cytosolic protein 1) and RAC activation. _x000D__x000D_AIF1 is expressed by activated monocytes, plays a role in vascular inflammation and may play a role in macrophage activation and function. _x000D__x000D_This item is expected to recognise AIF1 isoform 1 and isoform 3.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Polyclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
