GREEN FLUORESCENT PROTEIN This item recognises Green fluorescent protein (GFP), a 27kD protein which is derived from the jellyfish Aequorea Victoria. GFP fluoresces green (509nm) when excited by blue light (395nm) and is commonly used as a marker of gene expression. The antibody recognises wild type GFP, but will also detect recombinant and enhanced forms of GFP.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.Fluorescent microspheres, beads and particles applications including blood flow determination, tracing, fluorimetry, in vivo imaging and calibration of imaging and flow cytometry instruments. Because our fluorescent dyes are incorporated in the bead and not just on the surface, they are relatively immune to photo bleaching and other environmental factors.
