SYK This item detects an epitope within the internal region of SYK, a 70kD non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase whose role differs in haematopoietic and non haematopoietic stem cells. In haematopoietic cells SYK is involved in the proximal signalling downstream of activated immunoreceptors (BCR, TCR, Fc receptors), thereby orchestrating a complex series of cellular responses such as cell proliferation, differentiation, survival and phagocytosis. _x000D__x000D_In epithelial cells SYK appears to function as a negative regulator of related events. Furthermore, SYK has been shown to promote expression or secretion of inflammation-related molecules in lung epithelial cells. _x000D__x000D_SYK appears to be required for vascular integrity during development, thus, manipulation of SYK function in endothelial cells could potentially modulate tumour-associated angiogenesis. SYK also has been shown to interact with Epstein-Barr virus LMP2A.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Polyclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
